Stipulate v. - Agree, coordinate or come to an agreement.  (Diccionario Clave).

Many thanks for your trust, and for choosing us as your place to stay during your visit to Culebra. Your reservation indicates your agreement with the stipulations and philosophy of the Hostal. When we all comply with this agreement, we can better ensure that everyone will enjoy their stay, now and in the future. Please read the stipulations carefully, to be sure you agree with them and that they will fulfill your expectations during your stay at Hostal Casa Culebra.

I understand and accept the following:

  • Hostal Casa Culebra tries to ensure a tranquil, relaxing atmosphere for its guests. Loud music and loud gatherings are not permitted.

  • The Hostal is to be used and enjoyed only by guests.

  • The dock comes with your apartment (for an extra fee), and is to be used exclusively by guests.

  • Common spaces are for use and enjoyment by guests only. If you wish to use a space for your own activity, you must seek permission in advance from Hostal staff.

  • Hostal guest behavior must be respectful of the natural resources and of the other guests and staff.

  • Since water in Culebra is brought from the larger island of Puerto Rico, Hostal guests commit to using water as a scarce resource.

  • The same principle applies to caring generally for other natural resources, such as electricity. When out of the villa, guests will turn off the lights, air conditioners, and other electrical appliances.

  • Hostal Casa Culebra does not have its own generator. If there is a power outtage on Culebra, there will be no electricity.

  • Our sewage is handled by a septic tank. Guests may not throw toilet paper or any other item into the toilets.

  • There is no hospital or pharmacy on Culebra, only a diagnostic and treatment center. Guests must be sure to bring all necessary prescription medication with them.

  • Culebra’s solid waste landfill is almost full. Guests should try not to generate a lot of garbage, and should do everything possible, especially if they come on private boats, to take their garbage with them when they leave, and to limit the purchase and use of disposable items.
  • Guests must read, understand, and accept the Hostal’s cancellation policy, as well as its other policies and rules.
